As a B Corp, we feel responsible for aligning our company with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.

The 17 goals, alongside many other agreements formed in 2015, formed the blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet. The goals are an urgent call to action by all the countries in the global partnership, and crucial to B Lab’s B Impact Assessment to enable meaningful business action through dynamic self-assessment, benchmarking, and improvement. We pride ourselves on good health and well being 3, inclusive opportunities 4, gender equality 5, sustainable consumption 12, peace, justice and strong institutions 16, and taking action for climate 13.

Additionally, since becoming a certified B Corp, we have introduced a number of initiatives to reach Net Zero targets and we have formed new partnerships to align our business with more of the Sustainable Development Goals, here are some examples of our actions for the Global Week to #ACT4SDGs:

We have partnered with Camara Education, they use our unwanted tech to build computer labs, train teachers and install reused computers in African schools – helping to bridge the digital divide. We encourage our staff, clients, and partners to use this service. Camara Education helps us work towards more than half of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals:

  • 4 Quality Education
  • 5 Gender Equality
  • 9 Creating Infrastructure
  • 10 Reduced Inequalities and
  • 12 Responsible Consumption and Production

By enabling young people to achieve their potential, they are also helping to work towards:

  • 1 & 2 Eliminating poverty and hunger
  • 3 Promoting health and well-being
  • 8 Decent work and economic growth

We love to be involved in projects that help people and the environment, that’s why we try to offer NGO’s free or discounted use of our services.

We are also developing a donation strategy with Earthly to raise awareness of blue carbon projects that, with enough funding, could provide carbon credits in the future. This project will work towards a number of the goals by protecting and regenerating coastal areas with the involvement of local communities. The projects will provide:

  • 2 Food for coastal communities
  • 10 Reduced inequalities by providing work for all
  • 11 & 12 Sustainable production and safety for communities
  • 14 Improved life below water
  • 13 Safe carbon capture to help the climate crises

We have also partnered with Matchable to help staff to contribute to innovative volunteering programmes based on the cause they care about, and the skills they have to offer. These projects, usually for NGOs, support many of the SDGs and so we offer each staff member one paid day off each year to donate their time.
