Domino's brings you all the fun of the fair in the latest spot, directed by Tomboy Films’ Kirk Jones.

Steve Waugh art-directed up front, providing reference material for a dodgem kart which was then built for real for the shoot, with Phil Hurrell then building a CG kart based on this for the end pack shot.

Phil tracked in the delivery man and recreated the matte painting for the pack with fairground bulbs and a fairground with ferris wheel to enhance the theme of the ad.

Sparks were then added along with light reflections to really set them into the environment.
“Working so closely early on with the creative team from Iris and the Production team at Tomboy, we were definitely the third member of the team effort and this collaboration helped shape the whole job in terms of deciding how and what to shoot and what to do in post and VFX.” said Phil.
