Senior Pipeline Developer – LONDON

Coffee & TV is looking for a Senior Pipeline Developer to join our thriving creative collective. You will have a minimum of 5 years experience in VFX Pipeline development in a mid to senior-level role. Our studio is where creativity is practiced. You will be a ‘thinker’ and not just a ‘doer’ by bringing your pipeline experience. You must be keen to further hone your skills and develop the collective capabilities of the department.

• Proven experience in some areas of pipeline development: DCC API specialist, Asset Management, Ingest, and databases.
• Extensive Python development experience with strong debugging, testing, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working in a development team environment employing professional software development practices.
• An understanding of video and image formats, resolutions, and standards.

• Shotgrid Development Experience.
• Rez package management experience.
• Some experience with compiled plugins for one or DCC applications.
• Experience with Bash shell scripting.
• Experience integrating USD into a VFX pipeline.
• Experience integrating Unreal Engine into a VFX pipeline.

• Working with other department leads to design and develop new pipeline features.
• Identify problem areas in the pipeline and work to improve them.
• Create readable, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Provide technical support to artists using the pipeline tools.
