Nurturing the Next Generation: Coffee & TV’s Young Talent Recognised at the 2025 Young Arrows and Kinsale Sharks

27 October, 2025

At Coffee & TV, nurturing creative talent is at the heart of how we work. From day one, new artists are encouraged to experiment, learn, and grow their craft in a supportive, collaborative environment. It’s a culture built on trust, mentorship, and a genuine belief in giving people the space to shine and this year’s award season is proof that it’s paying off.

Colourist Lois Chapman has been named Best New Colour Grader at the 2025 Kinsale Shark Awards, recognised for her distinctive, emotive approach to colour across music videos and promos. She’s also up for Best New Colourist at the 2025 Young Arrows, alongside Liam Van Rooyen, while Producer Emily Garaway is nominated for Best New Producer (Post).

These nominations are more than individual milestones, they reflect a creative environment designed to help emerging talent thrive. Within the colour department, Creative Director of Colour Simona Cristea plays a key role in cultivating that growth. Known for her openness and generosity, Simona has built a team culture where assistants aren’t just observing, they’re encouraged to dive in, experiment, and develop their own visual voice.

The same ethos runs through the production team, led by Head of Production George Reid. The whole department champions young producers like Emily Garaway with calm guidance and deep industry insight to help emerging producers build confidence and navigate complex projects with creativity and clarity.

“The whole production team have been incredible at helping me grow into the producer I want to be,” says Emily. “With such a diverse team of varying backgrounds, its the perfect environment to learn, and one that allows me to shape my own producing style with the support of my fellow colleagues.”

For Coffee & TV, this recognition at the Young Arrows and Kinsale Sharks isn’t just about awards, it’s about seeing the next generation of artists come into their own. It’s proof that when a studio truly invests in people and their craft, the results are not only seen, but felt across the industry.
