A bustling airport terminal gate, an imaginary airline and a few Specsavers themed Easter eggs… just some of the things we created for the latest ’Should’ve Gone To...’ ad, directed by ‘Ted Lasso’ director Declan Lowney, through Merman. Creative Director Luke Todd, orchestrated the use of performance elements filmed at Dunsfold Airdrome, a unit shoot at Stanstead Airport and combined 2D and 3D elements to help bring to life the humourous ad. In addition the Coffee & TV team worked on a face replacement for a jumping stunt double for the security ’shoe jump’ and sprinkled a host of aeroplanes, signage and other hidden gems. Graded by Senior Colourist Lewis Crossfield the ad ups the ante on the classic ’Should’ve Gone To Specsavers’ format with great success.
