China-based creative agency, Brand Energies enlisted Director, Jason Keeley and Coffee & TV for the CCTV 8 Drama Channel logo rebrand. In November 2020, the branding won GOLD at Promax Asia in the Best Original Logo Design category.

The distinctive set of logos, used a combination of live-action, 2D & 3D animation to create two 15 second logo resolves featuring different, fast-cutting 8s created from double circles. Each stunning logo represents a different mood or meaning. Four 10 second IDs projecting strong and dramatic imagery were also delivered to brand CCTV 8's drama content.
