Discovery commissioned our visual effects and design teams to craft and deliver a series of 4k channel branding ID’s for the broadcaster’s new Ultra HD channel.

The five idents made in CG and directed by Steve Waugh are themed around Discovery Ultra’s content, including, nature, science and survival.

The idents were designed to stimulate the senses using the concept of ultra zoom. In one continuous movement we travel from microscopic level and the seemingly abstract to reveal the wider scene in rich and vivid detail.
