M&S
We created a menagerie of child/animal hybrids for M&S’s 'Back to School' campaign.
The visual effects team crafted a variety of animal heads, from seals to hedgehogs, which were then composited onto live action sequences of kids moving and gesturing.
The brief was give the animal heads an illustrative quality, rather than create photo-real reproductions, to avoid the uncanny valley and to emphasise a sense of playfulness in the characterisation.
