OBA, meaning King in Yoruba, is a beautiful short directed by Femi Ladi with CGI and VFX work provided by our wonderful team, with Callum Wellby as VFX Lead.

Inspired by Ladi’s own upbringing, the film explores dual heritage and the richness of his Nigerian culture. This can be seen through the Afrofuturistic style, with traditional African dress and drums mixed with a reimagined and clinical future setting.
