Just 13% of the UK ad industry are people of colour. Missing Link films partnered with Leo Burnett, Publicis and We Rise to discover some of the reasons why there is a lack of diversity in the industry, and to inspire students of colour to consider a career in advertising. The result is this 60” film, crafted by director and BAFTA Breakthrough talent Ashley Francis-Roy.
Written by students, the film aims to encourage young people of colour to explore careers within advertising. We’re super proud to have helped bring this important film to life with the talents of colourist Tash Hicks and VFX Artist Callum Wellby.
