“I am incredibly proud that Coffee & TV is now a Certified B Corporation®".

Independent visual content studio, Coffee & TV, today announces the company has achieved Certified B Corporation® status.  The approval recognises Coffee & TV as the first short form visual content studio from the advertising, broadcast and production industry. Coffee & TV will join the global movement of over 3,700 Certified B Corporations from more than 150 industries in 74 countries, who are committed to using business as a force for good.

Coffee & TV began the meticulous and lengthy process to earn B CorpTM status in late 2019.  Through a series of assessments, Coffee & TV demonstrated the studio’s passion to deliver the highest standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. B Lab®, a non-profit organisation, evaluates the certification by measuring a company’s impact on its team, suppliers, clients, community and environment. Coffee & TV was recognised for its determination to run the artist-led business differently within the creative industry. The studio’s award-winning company culture, environmental stewardship and relentless focus on all stakeholders secured the coveted Certified B Corporation® status.

Derek Moore, CEO & Co-Founder said: “I am incredibly proud that Coffee & TV is now a Certified B Corporation®. This is the gold standard in social and environmental responsibility. Our ethos from the very beginning has been to do things better; to empower our teams and genuinely help our clients, whilst minimising our impact on the planet.

Our industry is not particularly known for putting people first or committing to protect the environment, so we have always tried to do the right thing, not only the best thing for our profit margin.

The B Corp assessment provides us with a framework to measure Coffee & TV’s success against rigorous values and responsible practices as we scale as a company.”
