Coffee & TV’s Alfie Vaughan Co- Hosts World VFX Day 2025
15 December, 2025
This year’s programme was it’s most ambitious to date, charting the global state of VFX across the Americas, UK, Asia, Australasia and Europe, with appearances from the leaders shaping the future of the field. Sessions included:
- VFX Landscape: Americas, featuring founders from CONTROL, Swarm VFX, NOX VFX and key technical artists.
- UK Industry Spotlight, led by senior figures from UK Screen Alliance and the British Film Commission.
- Embracing Innovation, with Territory Studio, TerminalFX and senior production supervisors.
- VFX Landscape: Asia & Beyond, highlighting emerging markets and established global players.
- Spain’s Rise as a VFX & Animation Hub, featuring studio founders and national industry representatives.
- High-profile conversations including a Founders Fireside Chat with leaders from Dream Machine FX and Framestore, sessions with supervisors from WētāFX, ILM, HBO, Adobe, Cinesite, and multiple VES partnerships.
Against this world-class backdrop, Alfie contributed his own perspective, bringing the clarity, curiosity and accessible thinking he’s known for, both at Coffee & TV and on his widely followed YouTube channel.
Speaking on the significance of the event, he shared:
“It’s a great opportunity to bring together industry professionals and newcomers and pull back the curtain on what VFX artists get up to.”
Reflecting on the experience, he added:
“I was looking forward to meeting some new faces, catching up with old friends and probably learning a thing or two, and it absolutely delivered.”
For Alfie, being part of the line-up held particular personal meaning:
“As a newcomer years ago I looked up to the presenters and speakers with a lot of admiration. So to be doing that now myself is an honour, and I hope to inspire people in the same way I was inspired.”
Alfie’s involvement underscores Coffee & TV’s commitment to championing creativity, education and talent across the global VFX landscape. As a B Corp-certified creative studio working across motion design, animation, VFX and colour, Coffee & TV is proud to see its artists contribute to industry-shaping conversations on an international stage.
